A superhero body doesn’t come by magic, it comes by hard work, and Chris Evans, star of Captain America, knows just how much hard work it takes. Bulked-out bodies come a dime a dozen in Hollywood, but Chris followed his own path to a super body. At 32, he’s had to work a little harder and a little differently than his teen counterparts, but that’s a testament to his dedication and fortitude in preparing for the role, which required him to pack on 30 pounds. DIET

Chris went for the high-protein diet. His sources of protein included chicken, fish, protein drinks. Besides protein, he went for nuts, raisins, yogurt, bananas, and lots of salad and vegetables. He said before his new routine, he wasn’t used to that much protein or heavy meals, so it was an adjustment, but one he became accustomed to as his body acclimated.
